In-person and on-line coordination meetings
NetOPS Kick off Meeting
Madrid, September 2023
On the 26th and 27th September 2023 NetOPS held the first coordination meeting. This first activity of the network was carried out in collaboration with the field and laboratory spectroscopy group of the Spanish Remote Sensing Association (AET) and the instrumentation working group of the PTI TELEDETECT. Twenty-six researchers from 12 research groups participated. The activities included a scientific-technical presentation and discussion day held at the CCHS-CSIC where the future activities of the network in the field of training, mobility and scientific collaboration were planned; and an experimentation day held at the facilities of the Remote Sensing Systems Area (INTA), where several inter-comparison experiments of spectro-radiometers and calibration panels were carried out. The conference was co-funded by PTI TELEDETECT, SpecLab, the Institute of Economics, Geography and Demography of CSIC and AET.
On-line coordination meeting
January 2024
An on-line coordination metting was held on January 16, 2024. The metting started with the coordination report and review of post-KoM tasks/activities followed by short presentations and reports from tasks coordinators. NetOPs training were discussed including: pre-congress course AET Cadiz and Training school. The meeting finished wih the presentation of preliminary KoM experimentation results and proposal of analysis-publication
3rd Coordination meeting
Cádiz, June 2024
During the celebration in Cadiz of the XX Congress of the Spanish Association of Remote Sensing, the 3rd coordination meeting of the NetOPS network took place. The meeting reviewed the most recent activities of the network, such as the meeting with representatives of Copernicus Academy or the progress in the mobility calls and discussed the details of the next training activities to be organized in 2024 as well as the new mobility calls and the launch of the survey on instrumentation that will allow to have a complete catalog of all the equipment available in the network.
